The production of household appliances from Samsung (South Korea) and Siemens (Germany) is planned for early 2025 in Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev, Informburo reports .
“We set ourselves the task of scaling up the production of consumer goods by attracting international investors: Samsung – launch in the first quarter of 2025, HKC (China), Siemens,” Sharlapaev said at a government meeting.
The Minister also emphasized that domestic manufacturers are already cooperating with foreign brands in the production of household appliances. Thus, Silk Road Electronics works together with Artel, ATTZ with the Dausher brand, and DS Multimedia produces products in partnership with Xiaomi. The range includes kitchen stoves, washing machines, televisions, vacuum cleaners, mini-ovens, water heaters, which are already available in most electronics stores.
Since the beginning of 2024, more than 200 thousand units of equipment have been produced in Kazakhstan, and by the end of the year this figure is planned to be increased to 300 thousand.
