The bodies of 24 Azerbaijani citizens killed in the plane crash have been sent home from Aktau. This was reported by the press service of the Akim of Mangistau region.
“Today, December 28, at about 11:30 p.m., the bodies of 24 Azerbaijani citizens (including three crew members) who tragically died in the plane crash were sent home from Aktau,” the statement said.
The Akimat noted that work to identify the bodies had been underway since the beginning of the air crash, and actions were also carried out with the help of DNA analysis and relatives.
Let us recall that 29 people survived the plane crash that occurred on December 25, they were provided with high-quality medical care, including by qualified specialists who arrived from the capital on the instructions of the Head of State. 14 surviving citizens of Azerbaijan, having received medical care, have already been sent home.
