The Pantone Color Institute has named the main color of 2025. It is a chocolate-brown shade 17-1230 called Mocha Mousse. It is presented as a whipped dessert in a glass bowl, conveying a feeling of lightness, reports the Rules of Life.
According to the institute's experts, this "warming brown shade, imbued with richness," reminds us "of the delicious properties of chocolate and coffee." It is noted that the color reflects the need for harmony, the desire for "simple pleasures" and comfort.
Pantone Vice President Laurie Pressman called Mocha Mousse a subtle evolution of the 2024 Color of the Year, Peach Fuzzy, which reflects similar themes: “As people seek harmony and balance, the focus shifts to creating moments and experiences that enhance feelings of comfort and well-being.”
