By 2025, more than 1.2 million trees will be planted, and by 2030, about 1.3 million trees.
"In order to qualitatively implement the President's order to revive the status of "Almaty – a garden city", 500 kilometers of automatic irrigation and drip irrigation networks were installed in 2023-2024, and another 290 kilometers of such networks will be installed in 2025 for a total of 4.1 billion tenge. This will allow more than one million trees to be covered by the automatic irrigation system," Dosayev noted.
