Two children died in a fire in Akmola region. This was reported by Informuro.kz with reference to the press service of the regional Department of Emergency Situations.
"A fire broke out in a private residential building in the village of Shubaragash, Bulandy District, covering an area of three square meters. Two children, born in 2017 and 2021, died from smoke inhalation. No calls were received by the emergency numbers of the Department of Emergency Situations. Eyewitnesses extinguished the fire," the report says.
To determine the causes of the incident, the research testing fire laboratory of the Akmola Region Department of Emergency Situations was involved. The Bulandy District Emergency Situations Department initiated a pre-trial investigation under Part 3 of Article 292 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As noted by the Department of Emergency Situations, in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other information about the progress of the pre-trial investigation is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation.
