On November 27, a video of a display at the Astana Opera Theatre was shared on social media, with a flag fluttering on the screen in the traditional yellow and blue colors of the Ukrainian flag. The caption to the video claimed that the screen had been hacked. This was later called a short circuit.
"At 16:30 on the Keruen Media LED screen, on the image of the Russian flag on the upper segment, the cable shorted out and the white color turned off, due to which the color tone changed under the load of electricity, it became brighter. Thus, when producing video on a cell phone, the red color when playing the video for visual contact seems yellow," said a man who introduced himself as the deputy director of Keruen Media for technical affairs, Mukhtar Bekbosynov, quoted by KazTAG.

Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin is in Kazakhstan on a state visit.
In Astana, the LED screens initially showed the Russian national flag, namely the tricolor: white, blue, red.
