As of November 1, 2024, the number of recipients of social payments in the event of loss of work from the State Social Insurance Fund (SSIF) was 256.6 thousand people. At the same time, 212.9 thousand citizens were assigned the payment this year. The total amount of payments was 70.6 billion tenge, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population reports .
In accordance with the current legislation, dismissed employees receive social benefits for loss of employment from one to six months, depending on the length of participation in the compulsory social insurance system and income over the past 24 months. The payment is made from the State Social Insurance Fund in the amount of up to 45% of lost income.
To assign a payment to a dismissed employee, it is necessary:
- log in to the eGov.kz portal;
- in the “Employment and Employment” section, select the “Registration of Job Seekers” service;
- order the service online by filling in all the fields and submitting the application, signing it with an electronic digital signature;
- within one day, the career center (CC) at the applicant’s place of residence will offer vacancies;
- if no job is found, the unemployed status will be assigned remotely within three working days. If necessary, a CC employee will contact the applicant to collect additional information.
This service can also be obtained online through the Electronic Labor Exchange enbek.kz.
If there is information about registration as unemployed, the MLSZN information system will send an SMS message to a mobile phone to agree to provide the service for assigning a payment from the State Social Insurance Fund in a proactive format.
If you agree, you must reply to the SMS message. The payment will be assigned automatically.
