The head of the Biz Birgemiz foundation Perizat Kairat was dismissed from the post of president of the Para-Table Tennis Federation, Informburo writes with reference to the press service of the organization. The decision was made on November 14 at an extraordinary meeting of the federation.
It should be noted that she took up her post less than a month ago, on October 24. During this period, according to representatives of the organization, Perizat Kairat did not hold a single official meeting.
On November 14, AFM reported that she was suspected of stealing 1.5 billion tenge from her foundation. Biz Birgemiz collected them to help citizens who suffered during the spring floods, but according to the investigation, the director spent most of the donations on purchasing luxury items.
KazTAG noted that the co-founders of the fund are also members of the Amanat party.
On November 15, Amanat stated that they were not affiliated with the Biz Birgemiz Foundation. According to them, during the floods, the youth wing of the Jastar Ruhi party helped flood victims. They delivered humanitarian aid collected by charities, including the Biz Birgemiz Foundation.
Amanat did not comment on the fact that party members were listed as co-founders of the fund.
