According to the NeMolchiKZ foundation, the girl who died in Aktau last May after being kidnapped, tortured, raped and extorted was 29 years old, she led a “cheerful and sporty” lifestyle, and was a karate champion.
"There are still people in the comments who are trying to justify the rapists who use mephedrone. These people write that the girl was a drug dealer, and that is why she was grabbed on the street. But that day she was walking home after work alone and turned on the flashlight on her phone, because it was dark. Any adequate person would think exactly that. The criminals dug up a dose near the store and were looking for a way to find an even bigger dose, and they imagined that this girl was a drug dealer," the message from NeMolchiKZ says .
In its post, the foundation also published a video showing five men pushing a girl into a car.
"The girl is a winner of regional and national competitions. Champion of national and regional karate championships. Discipline, work, perseverance, training for 5-6 hours, prize places, healthy nutrition, an excellent, well-coordinated athletic body – this was her way of life. The girl had awards, she had a blue belt in karate. She created training programs for other athletes in jiu-jitsu, taekwondo, who showed excellent results. She also participated in marathons, ran 42 kilometers. She had a decent job," the foundation said in a statement.
The activists appealed to sports federations and organizations, as well as athletes and bloggers, to support and honor the name of the deceased.
