In Konayev, the court sentenced the former head of institution No. 57 of the DUIS Pisarev P. and the head of the operational department of institution No. 12 of the DUIS Bolekbai E. in a case of receiving a bribe, the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Almaty region reports .
Special prosecutors of the Almaty Region Prosecutor's Office proved that the defendants received bribes for patronage while serving their sentences, as well as for the unhindered and repeated transport of prohibited items for convicts into institutions.
The court, having examined the irrefutable evidence collected during the investigation, found Pisarev P. guilty and sentenced him to nine years of imprisonment, and Bölekbai E. to three years of imprisonment to be served in a medium-security penal institution.
