The Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan awarded a group of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan who took part in the emergency rescue operation in connection with the crash of the plane on December 25, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, Azertadzh reports .
According to the relevant order signed by the Minister, the following Kazakhstani rescuers were awarded the “For Cooperation” badge:
- Seytalin Azamat Serikovich;
- Aminov Timur Vladimirovich;
- Aidarov Kani Manapovich;
- Karaev Sayasat Musaevich;
- Kenzhegaliev Mazhit Serikbaevich;
- Kulkhanov Azymbek Shindauletovich;
- Kuzembaev Erbol Akhmetovich;
- Mendibaev Nauryzbek Erlanuly;
- Nugumanov Ardak Koishibekovich;
- Tleubergenova Aiman Mynbaevna.
The plane crashed on December 25. There were 67 people on board, including five crew members. Twenty-nine people survived. All six Kazakhs died.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the final version of the tragedy will be known after decoding the black boxes, and stressed that the AZAL plane, flying from Baku to Grozny, was damaged from the outside.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded a large group of Kazakhstanis who demonstrated courage, professionalism and civic responsibility in rescuing passengers of the Azerbaijani airline AZAL.
