Kazakh sculptor Azamat Kenzhegaliev showed on social networks how he creates a metal monument in honor of a dog named Pshon, who participated in the construction of a dam during the floods in Atyrau. At the end of November, the dog was killed by unknown persons.
Master Kenzhegaliev filmed several videos of the creation of his sculpture.
For his work, he uses metal plates shaped like a heart. According to the author, this symbolizes the sincere affection and unconditional love of an animal for a person.
Kenzhegaliev works on every detail: he carefully cuts and bends metal plates, connecting them into a composition.
The master noted that he began creating the work a few days after Pshon was shot. It is not yet known whether the monument will be erected.
In March 2024, videos of a dog carrying sandbags and helping people build a dam during floods went viral on social media. The animal delighted many Kazakhstanis. Pshon lived in the village of Sartogay in the Makhambet district of the Atyrau region.
In early December, a report emerged that a dog had been shot and could not be saved. The owner of the dead dog posted a video on TikTok of the dart that hit him and showed the wound.
A criminal case has been opened in the Atyrau region regarding cruel treatment of animals.
