Semey has a new akim – Talgat Muratov has taken over from Nurbol Nursagatov. Before his current appointment, he held the post of akim of the Beskaragay district of the Abay region. This was reported by the press service of the regional akimat.
Nurbol Nursagatov has been working as akim since October 2022. The press service of the regional akimat did not report the reason for his resignation. The official himself also did not name the reason for leaving the post of akim.
It is known that Talgat Muratov was born in 1972 in the Almaty region. Over the years, he worked in private companies, and entered the civil service in 2014, taking the position of chief specialist of the construction, architecture and urban development department of the Beskaragay district. From 2016 to 2018, he was the head of the architecture, urban development and construction department of the Zharma district. From 2018 to 2022, he was deputy akim of the Zharma district. He also held the position of akim of the Beskaragay district of the Abay region.
By the way, let us recall that the teacher involved in decorating the New Year tree in Semey was injured. He turned out to be the teacher of Kazakh language and literature of school No. 49 Kuat Aitkaliyev.
