In recent days, Kazakhstanis have been actively discussing Internet problems on social networks. Users complain about a sharp decrease in connection speed, frequent interruptions and difficulties accessing instant messengers and social platforms.
The Buzyq Telegram channel contacted the Beeline dispatcher, who linked the interruptions to “the introduction of certain restrictions.”
“There are some restrictions on the Internet in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the company reported.
However, no answer was provided to the question about the reasons and initiators of the introduced restrictions.
Let us recall that December 16 is Independence Day in Kazakhstan.
Some Internet users have speculated that the internet outages may be due to possible targeted access restrictions.
At the moment, government agencies have not given any official comments regarding the deterioration in communication quality.
