The administrative court issued a decision on the case of the father of the murdered Sherzat Bolat, Karzhaubai Nurymov – the man was arrested for 15 days for hooliganism. Relatives of Sherzat's family were also sentenced to fines, deportation from Kazakhstan and arrest. This is stated in the post @justice_for_sherzat on Instagram.
"Karzhau – hooliganism, 15 days of arrest. We are preparing an appeal in the morning. Bakhyt (Karzhau's cousin) – calls for rallies, 15 days and deportation from the country (not a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Saltanat (Karzhau's sister) – hooliganism, 20 MCI. The trial for Aigazy (Karzhau's son-in-law) will take place in the morning," the lawyers said in a statement.
The human rights activists wrote that the decision was made by the judges on duty, they delivered the verdict at 4 a.m. and it was impossible to do anything at night. The lawyers emphasized that they would be back in the courtroom in the morning to continue their work.
Later, the Enbekshikazakh District Court provided an explanation on the case of Sherzat's father.
"For committing petty hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 434 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), expressed in obscene language in a public place, offensive harassment of law enforcement officers, as well as actions demonstrating disrespect for others, violating public order and the peace of citizens, and creating obstacles to the movement of vehicles, citizen Nurymov was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest," the court said in a statement.
Let us recall that yesterday evening the father of the murdered Sherzat Bolat, Karzhaubay Nurymov, was detained by the police after demanding a meeting with the media. The detention took place in the village of Azat during a funeral procession.
Police officers called Nurymov "aggressive" and "inadequate" and that he "attacked a police officer with a knife." "At the request of Nurymov's relatives and lawyers, in order to prevent harm to his life and the lives of others, police officers took measures to detain him," the press service of the Almaty Region Police Department reported .
