An official announcement about bringing the units of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan to the highest level of combat readiness appeared on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is due to the upcoming combat exercises, the department reassured the Kazakhs.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan also warned citizens about the movement of military equipment.
"With the start of the new period of combat training, all military command bodies, military units and institutions of the Armed Forces will be brought to the highest level of combat readiness. In early December, army units will be raised on alert to march to training grounds and training centers. The transfer of personnel and movement of columns of military equipment to the sites of complex tactical and drill exercises and training is planned," the statement said.
The ministry noted that temporary traffic restrictions cannot be ruled out on certain road sections in the regions. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan asked citizens and media representatives not to spread false reports and to trust only official sources of information.
