A resident of Kostanay is being tried for putting up drug advertisements on the streets of the city. According to the prosecution, she received a total of 1.9 million tenge for her work. In the dock is 34-year-old Svetlana Bakhvalova. She is accused of promoting drugs, which is punishable by criminal liability in Kazakhstan. Under Article 299-1, Part 2, which is brought against Bakhvalova, she faces a real term of 3 to 6 years.
