Yesterday, a man hit a woman on a bus in Almaty for talking loudly on the phone. The video, filmed by eyewitnesses, was published by Qumash. The author wrote that the conflict took place on bus 126.
"According to an eyewitness, the man made a remark to the passenger, but did not receive the desired response. Then he grabbed her by the collar and tried to push her out of the vehicle. The woman resisted and pushed him away, for which she was hit," the description of the video says.
Note that at the beginning of the video, a man can be heard scolding a woman for talking loudly on the phone. After other passengers complain, he says, "I'm shell-shocked, I don't care."
The situation was commented on by the press service of the Almaty Police Department.
"The police department at the Almalinsky District Police Department is conducting an investigation into this incident. Measures will certainly be taken against the culprit in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The circumstances are being established," the police reported.
A little later, the police added that the man who hit the woman on the bus in Almaty was detained for hooliganism. A criminal case was opened. The 66-year-old suspect is currently in a temporary detention facility.
