The State Security Service warned residents of Astana that on November 27-28, during a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council with the participation of heads of foreign states, streets will be blocked and Armed Forces equipment will be deployed.
"Temporary restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be introduced on certain sections of the capital's streets. Preparatory measures include the use of resources from special state, law enforcement agencies and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including military aviation and equipment," the statement said.
In addition, flights of the Ministry of Defense's frontline aviation are planned over the city on November 27.
