An accident occurred on a heating main in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Today at 15:50 a rupture of a pipe with a diameter of 630 millimeters was recorded, as a result of which residents of the Silk Fabrics Plant, Drama Theater and Yertis City areas were left without heating. This is reported by Kazinform.
"A total of 14,819 subscribers remain without hot water and heat. Among them, 14,457 individuals and 362 legal entities. Emergency teams are working on the scene," the press service of the heat supply organization "Shygys-zhylu" reported.
The regional center recorded an air temperature of about 0 degrees. Utility services note that there have been no complaints from residents yet.
Heating network specialists promise to fix the problem by 23:00. There are 24 people working on site and 8 units of equipment are involved.
