Residents of Saran in the Karaganda region are outraged by cold radiators in their homes. People's discontent has especially increased over the past 24 hours, due to a sharp cold snap: on October 13, the outside temperature in the city is 0 degrees, and feels like minus 6 degrees.
In addition, at the end of September, the local government officially announced the launch of a new Central Heat Source (CHS). It was said that the capacity of the central heat source would be more than enough. But many houses still do not have the promised heat, Kazinform reports .
The situationwas explained by the city's akim, Yerkin Baulykov. In the published video, he also asked for forgiveness from residents.
"Unfortunately, this is because we have a new boiler house. Therefore, a gradual increase is required. But the most important thing is that all the workers are available. All the necessary work is being done. There are reserves of coal and all the necessary consumables. We will continue our work. I apologize to the population for the inconvenience caused. In the near future, we will provide heat to all homes," said Akim Baulykov.
The city akimat press service reported that the CTI is now up and running. One boiler is in operation, routine adjustments are being made, temperature readings are gradually increasing, and the minimum temperature is already reaching homes.
There are also eight local boiler houses operating in the city, which provide heat to 95 houses. There are nine local boiler houses in reserve, which will be launched today if necessary. 150 houses have already been connected to the CTI. All social facilities are heated by local boiler houses.
