Amourski is a talented artist, music producer and author of the songs "Emotions", "Kraskami" and the recently released Randevu. His real name is unknown to fans. We contacted the artist to tell about his recent performance in a shopping center under the Yandex Music poster, as well as to find out how new stars are lit up on the Kazakhstani stage and why Amourski prefers to perform under a mask.

What are your impressions of the performance?
— It turned out to be very lively! People did not immediately understand what was happening, many did not understand who was performing. But the music drew them in, they came up. They wanted to know who was singing. I would repeat such an experience. Thanks to the team of dancers and the choreographer, they are great.
Why did you choose this particular track?
— “I Didn’t Sleep” is one of my favorites. It reflects my style especially well. I wanted the listeners to feel Amursky’s musical vibe. It happens that you come across a song by some unknown artist, you find his album — and it’s completely different. But if the listener likes “I Didn’t Sleep,” then they might like my other songs too.

What was the point of the performance?
— The performance was organized by the music service Yandex Music for the appearance of the next playlist ISKRA Qazaqstan. And I am glad that we have such support for aspiring musicians and musical culture in Kazakhstan.
What tracks do you think Kazakhstanis like on the music service?
Songs that are close to the spirit of Kazakhstanis, with elements of national and modern sounds, are trending now. People like a variety of music – from folk to hip-hop. The taste is growing every day. And I'm glad that we have finally moved away from these trap hi-hats.
What do you think the ISKRA Qazaqstan playlist gives to aspiring musicians in Kazakhstan?
— ISKRA Qazaqstan is a great opportunity for young artists, where they can find their audience and become more famous. My performance is an example of how it works. Maybe you are a talented performer, you have vibe tracks, but the audience knows nothing about you. And then you accidentally cross paths: in a Yandex Music playlist or during a performance, and you get a loyal listener, and he gets a favorite musician.

Why did you decide to speak anonymously?
— Anonymity helps to focus on the music, so that listeners can feel the songs themselves more, rather than being distracted by appearance or facial expressions.
What does the golden tiger mask mean?
— The tiger mask symbolizes the power of individuality. It reflects my approach to music.
When do you plan to reveal your identity to fans?
— I don’t plan to yet. I like to maintain mystery – it makes everything more interesting.
